VACCINES
Puppies require a minimum of two sets of vaccines and must have seen a vet. Puppies need to have been in your home a minimum of one week.
RABIES
-
Records must indicate current rabies vaccination or immunity (except for puppies under 6 months).
DAPP
-
Records must indicate current any one of DHLPP/DA2PP/DHPP/DAP vaccination or immunity, based on your vet’s preferred vaccination protocol.
-
Puppies require two series of DAP vaccinations and to have been with you a minimum of one week
TICK & FLEA TREATMENT
(optional)
-
Due to the potentially-serious side-effects of topical, ingested or wearable pesticides, flea and tick treatment is optional. There are risks from both treating a dog and not.
BORDETELLA
(optional)
The Bordetella vaccine is recommended but not required.
Much like the flu vaccine for people, the Bordetella vaccine will not protect your dog from all strains of infectious coughs.

Learn more about Bordetella and the limitations of the vaccine.
Titer tests: We will also accept titer test results. A titer test is a test conducted by a vet that measures a dog’s existing immunity. This can be used to determine whether a booster is required.
Exceptions: If, for any reason, your dog is unable to meet these vaccination requirements, please have your vet contact us. Exceptions to the requirements can be made on a case-by-case basis with your vet's support.
ADDITIONAL HEALTH & VACCINE NOTES
GENERAL HEALTH

-
Must be in good health
-
Must not have been exposed to nor had an infectious cough for 7 days prior to their visit or be exposed to or ill with any other contagious illness for 30 days prior.

INTACT DOGS
We accept unspayed females and unneutered males over six months old.

Intact male dogs over six months old will only participate in our private play park program.
BORDETELLA VACCINE
The Bordetella vaccine is recommended but not required.
Bordetella symptoms in dogs are similar to the symptoms of a common cold in humans. Much like the flu vaccine for people, the Bordetella vaccine will not protect your dog from all strains of infectious coughs.

FEMALE DOGS IN HEAT
Females in heat may not attend daycare, be boarded, or attend learning programs. If your dog enters her heat during a boarding stay with us and cannot be picked up, a $35/day sanitary fee will be applied.
INJURED DOGS
We can accommodate dogs recovering from injuries in our private play parks and have specific daycare and boarding options for recovering guests.
DOGS PRESENTING WITH ILLNESS
It can happen; you may miss a runny nose or cough, which we note during our engagement with your dog. Dogs presenting symptoms of illness after check-in will need to be picked up, whether attending for daycare or boarding.
